A snapshot of the training programme for the Booth level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors of 93-Sonari LAC, held on 17th July, 2025, at Sonari College Auditorium in Charaideo District. The training programme was inaugurated by Smti. Suntrishna Ghorphalia, ACS, ADC Charaideo and Electoral Registration Officer, 93- Sonari LAC who extended a warm welcome to the BLOs and urged them to provide necessary support during the upcoming revision activities. Thereafter, Other District Election Officials, namely, Smti. Srabana Sonowal, ACS, ADC (Election), Smti. Aditi Neog, ACS, Election Officer, Charaideo, Assistant Electoral Registration Officers - Smti Chaitalirani Dutta, ALRS, CO, Sonari & Smti. Barnali Phukan, BDO, Sonari, and Master Trainers Dr. Chakrapani Patir, Asstt. Professor, Sonari College & Dr. Bairendra Das, Asstt. Professor, Borhat College provided an extensive overview of legal provisions, electoral processes, different IT applications including BLO App and roles & responsibilities of BLOs in the preparation of a healthy, inclusive, and error-free Electoral Roll. The training also included a session on role-play by BLOs involving different case studies.
Today, Shri Damodar Barman, ACS, Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Dispur, Assam, visited Charaideo District to review the ongoing BLO Training and delivered an encouraging and motivating talk emphasizing adherence to ECI guidelines. Alongside the Electoral Officials of 93- Sonari LAC, Shri Palash Rajkumar Ahom, ACS, Co-district Commissioner, Mahmora & ERO, 94- Mahmora was also present during the visit of the Additional CEO, Assam.

আজি, অসমৰ অতিৰিক্ত মুখ্য নিৰ্বাচনী বিষয়া শ্ৰী দামোদৰ বৰ্মনে, ACS চৰাইদেউ জিলাত চলি থকা BLO প্ৰশিক্ষণ পৰিদৰ্শন কৰিবলৈ আহিছিল আৰু ECI নিৰ্দেশনা মানি চলাৰ ওপৰত গুৰুত্ব দি এক উৎসাহপ্ৰদ আৰু প্ৰেৰণাদায়ক বক্তৃতা দিয়ে। ৯৩-সোণাৰি বিধানসভা সমষ্টিৰ নিৰ্বাচনী বিষয়াসকলৰ লগতে , মহমৰা সম-জিলা আয়ুক্ত আৰু ৯৪-মহমৰা বিধানসভা সমষ্টিৰ নিৰ্বাচনী পঞ্জীয়ন বিষয়া, শ্ৰী পলাশ ৰাজকুমাৰ আহোম, ACS এই পৰিদৰ্শন সময়ত উপস্থিত আছিল।
