• Driving & Vehicle Maintenance – Shri Partha Pratim Samaddar, Mechanical Engineer & In-charge, Driving Training Institute

• Road Markings & Traffic Signals – Dr. Aninda Bijoy Paul, Advisor (IC).

The National Institute For Automotive Inspection Maintenance & Training (NIAIMT), is a centre established by NATRiP (National Automotive Testing R&D Infrastructure Project) under the Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprise (MOHI&PE), Government of India at Udharbond.

Infrastructure improvements continue at Kathal.

1. the decades-old CI sheet roofing of the Unit MT Garage has been replaced with new CI sheets, covering 4,050 square feet.

2. The temporary cloth ceiling of the Unit Drill Shed has been replaced with AC boards supported by iron angles, covering a total area of 5,760 square feet.
