Training of 140 Teachers from 70 Selected Schools Concludes in Cachar
শেষ হল জেলার ৭টি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের নির্বাচিত ৭০ স্কুলের ১৪০ জন শিক্ষকদের প্রশিক্ষণ। আজ মঙ্গলবার (২৯ সেপ্টেম্বর) শিলচর বিলপার রোডস্থিত একটি বিবাহ ভবনে দুটি পৃথক শিবিরের মাধ্যমে সম্পন্ন হয়। গতকাল থেকে শুরু হওয়া এই শিবিরে ৭০ টি স্কুল থেকে দুজন করে মোট ১৪০ জন হাই ও হাইয়ার সেকেন্ডারি স্কুলের শিক্ষক শিক্ষিকারা অংশ নেন। আসাম সরকারের গৃহীত পরীক্ষামুলক নয়া কর্মসূচি স্কুল পড়ুয়াদের গোড়া থেকেই স্বাস্থ্য বিষয়ে সচেতন করে গড়ে তুলতে বিভিন্ন বিদ্যালয়ে "স্কুল হেল্থ ক্লাব" গঠন ইতিমধ্যে শুরু করা হয়েছে। এই কর্মসূচির অন্তর্গত নানা কর্মকান্ড ত্বরান্বিত করতে কার্যক্রম শুরু করে দিয়েছে জেলার স্বাস্থ্য বিভাগ। প্রকল্পটি রূপায়নের দায়িত্বে রয়েছে এন এইচ এমের স্কুল স্বাস্থ্য ও কিশোর কিশোরী স্বাস্থ্য কার্যক্রম বিভাগের আরবিএসকে ও আরকে এসকে। উল্লেখ্য, আসাম সরকারের মাননীয় মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ও স্বাস্থ্যমন্ত্রীর পরামর্শক্রমে কাছাড়ের ৭ টি বিধানসভা কেন্দ্রের মাননীয় বিধায়কগন এই স্কুলগুলির নাম সুপারিশ করেন। দুদিনের এই প্রশিক্ষণ পরিচালনা করেন এন এইচ এমের জেলা সংযোজক ইকবাল বাহার লস্কর। রিসোর্স পার্সন হিসেবে ছিলেন আরবিএসকে-র মেডিক্যাল অফিসার ডাঃ শুভ্রজ্যোতি দাস, ডাঃ মৃগাঙ্খ শেখর ঘোষ, ডাঃ চিরঞ্জীব বর্মণ, খন্ড সংযোজক অভিজিৎ রায়, মাল্টি স্কিলড কাউন্সিলর ইরশাদুর রহমান বড়ভুইয়া। এছাড়া দুদিনের প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মসুচিকে বাস্তবায়ন করতে সহযোগিতা করেন খন্ড সংযোজক যথাক্রমে মহিদুল ইসলাম, প্রণবদত্ত নাথ, জাহিদুল ইসলাম, একলাস উদ্দিন বড়ভুইয়া, অম্লান ভুঁইয়া, আলমারা বেগম লস্কর ও বিচিত্র কাকতি।
The two-day training programme for 140 teachers from 70 selected schools across the seven Legislative Assembly Constituencies (LACs) of Cachar district concluded today, Tuesday, 29 September 2026, at a marriage hall located on Bilpar Road, Silchar. The training was conducted in two separate sessions.
The training programme, which commenced yesterday, was attended by **two teachers from each of the 70 selected High and Higher Secondary Schools, making a total of 140 participants.
The Government of Assam has initiated a new pilot programme to establish “School Health Clubs” in various schools with the objective of creating health awareness among school-going children from an early age. To accelerate the implementation of various activities under this initiative, the Health Department of Cachar district has already commenced the necessary activities.
The programme is being implemented by the RBSK and RKSK components under the School Health and Adolescent Health Programme of the National Health Mission (NHM).
It may be mentioned that, following the guidance of the Hon’ble Chief Minister and Hon’ble Health Minister of Assam, the Hon’ble MLAs of the seven LACs of Cachar district recommended the names of the schools to be included in the programme.
The two-day training programme was conducted by Ikbal Bahar Laskar, District Coordinator, NHM.
The resource persons included **Dr. Shubhrajyoti Das, Dr. Mriganka Shekhar Ghosh and Dr. Chiranjib Barman, Medical Officers, RBSK; Abhijit Roy, Block Coordinator; and Irshadur Rahman Barbhuiya, Multi-Skilled Counsellor.
The training programme was also supported by the respective Block Coordinators—Mahidul Islam, Pranabdatta Nath, Zahidul Islam, Eklas Uddin Barbhuiya, Amlan Bhuiya, Almara Begum Laskar and Bichitra Kakati—who extended their cooperation in successfully conducting the two-day training programme.
