डिजिटल गवर्नेंस की दिशा में एक और कदम!
जल शक्ति विभाग ने अपनी कार्यप्रणाली में बड़ा बदलाव करते हुए प्रदेश के 101 कार्यालयों को ई-ऑफिस प्लेटफॉर्म से सफलतापूर्वक जोड़ लिया है। मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविन्द्र सिंह सुक्खू जी ने इस डिजिटल क्रांति की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इससे विभागीय कार्यों में न केवल गति आई है, बल्कि पारदर्शिता और समयबद्धता भी सुनिश्चित हुई है।
उप-मुख्यमंत्री मुकेश अग्निहोत्री जी ने इसे विभाग को अधिक उत्तरदायी और दक्ष बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण पहल बताया है। वहीं, सचिव डॉ. अभिषेक जैन ने विभाग के सभी अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों की प्रतिबद्धता की प्रशंसा की।

प्रमुख अभियंता कार्यालय से लेकर सचिवालय तक, अब फाइलों का संचालन पूरी तरह से डिजिटल हो रहा है। अब विभाग उप-मंडल स्तर पर भी पूर्णतः डिजिटल होने की ओर अग्रसर है।

*Awareness and Sensitization Workshop on User Experience & Design System organised by DDTG*

The Department of Digital Technologies and Governance (DDT&G), Government of Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, organised an Awareness and Sensitization Workshop on User Experience (UX) and Design on 27th February 2026 at IT Bhawan, Shimla. The event marked another significant milestone for the State as it hosted the second such workshop aimed at strengthening user-centric digital governance.
During the inaugural session, the Secretary (DT&G) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh and Director, DDT&G formally handed over Aadhaar enrolment kits along with laptops to Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs) from Shimla district to enhance digital service delivery at the grassroots level.
Shri Narender Kumar, Deputy Director (IT), welcomed the dignitaries, senior officers, technology leaders from various departments, and VLEs. Dr. Nipun Jindal, Director, DDT&G, welcomed the Chief Guest and participants. The keynote address was delivered by Shri Ashish Singhmar Secretary DDTG who highlighted the importance of UX/UI and digital transformation in improving public service delivery through enhanced user experience.
Shri Ajeet Kumar, Deputy General Manager, along with his team from NeGD, conducted specialised sessions covering user experience fundamentals, design principles, UX audit processes and tools, adoption strategies, and implementation of the UX4G (User Experience for Government Applications) Design System for improving government digital platforms. The sessions also explored the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in design and governance.
The workshop included practical demonstrations on Design Thinking methodologies through case studies of the DDT&G website and the HPRCA Portal of Himachal Pradesh, focusing on efficient public service delivery and streamlined government job application processes.
Several departments expressed keen interest in adopting the UX4G Design System and associated tools within their workflows, along with best practices in user experience to ensure seamless and citizen-centric digital service delivery.
