Today marks the 161st anniversary of Kiang Nongbah's martyrdom. He was a brave freedom fighter who sacrificed his life for the cause of his people. He fought against the British colonial rule and inspired many others to join the struggle. He is a hero and a legend of Meghalaya. Let us remember and honour his legacy.
