TB Screening & Health Camp at ML031 Battalion Camp, Samanda
Taking care of those who serve, while moving together towards a TB-Free Meghalaya.
As part of the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan β 100 Days Campaign Phase II, a TB Screening and Health Camp was conducted at ML031 Battalion Camp, Samanda, East Garo Hills, bringing essential health services and TB awareness closer to the personnel and community.
The camp brought together the NTEP team, health workers, battalion personnel and local stakeholders for TB awareness, health assessment and screening. Participants were sensitised on the signs and symptoms of TB, importance of early detection, timely testing, treatment adherence, nutrition and prevention of TB transmission.
The initiative reflects the importance of taking TB services beyond health facilities and reaching people where they live and work. Through awareness, active screening, early diagnosis and timely linkage to care, every screening camp takes us another step closer to our shared goal of a TB-Free Meghalaya.
Know TB. Screen Early. Treat Completely.
Together, We Can End TB.
