Who can apply?
• Entrepreneurs operating in Meghalaya across any sector
• Residents of Meghalaya aged 18 years and above
• Registered or unregistered businesses are eligible
• Applicants must not be government employees
• Applicants should not have received loans/grants exceeding ₹50,000 from PRIME, MBMA, or any Line Department

Selection will be based on the prescribed eligibility criteria and evaluation process.

From loom to showroom — this is Ri & Last.

Meet Prevalency Syiem, one of the founders of Ri & Last, an Eri Silk weaving & dyeing unit nestled in the village of Khweng, Ri Bhoi District, Meghalaya.

What started as a weaving unit has grown into something beautiful — a brand new showroom, opened in January 2026, where handwoven Eri Silk (Ryndia) finds its final home.

From shawls and mufflers to jainsems, fabrics, neckties, and clutch bags — every piece is woven with patience, skill, and deep roots in craft.

Prevalency is also among the Top 25 entrepreneurs selected for the Chief Minister E-Championship Challenge 3.0, completing a 9-month incubation program — proof that tradition and ambition go hand in hand.

Founders Sushmi & Mishmi Mazumdar turned a small ice-cream dream into Shillong's newest landmark brand- graduating from PRIME Meghalaya's Cohort 5 incubation programme and opening their very first retail outlet at Police Bazaar.

Flavours of Meghalaya, made for the world to discover. PRIME is proud to congratulate The Taste of Shillong on this milestone. The journey has only just begun.

Marking a significant step towards her entrepreneurship journey, Sushmi Mazumdar, founder of The Taste of Shillong inaugurated her first retail outlet at Dreamland Arcade, Police Bazaar, Shillong

Held at the Dreamland Arcade, Police Bazaar, Shillong, the inauguration began with a welcome speech by Luziana Wahlang, followed by the Ribbon cutting for the inauguration of the retail outlet by Smti. Saloni Verma, IAS, Executive Director, Meghalaya Basin Management Agency.

The Taste of Shillong creates homemade ice cream with local fruits and local food products found exclusively in Meghalaya. The ice cream is made from scratch and is preservative free. Their innovative flavours are Khasi Rice Ice Cream, Sohiong ice cream, Star Fruit ice cream and many more having developed more than 25 flavours successfully

PRIME Meghalaya hosted The Packaging Workshop- “Make Your Product Market-Ready” in collaboration with HP Indigo at PRIME Hub, Shillong.

The workshop brought together entrepreneurs, ecosystem partners, and industry experts to highlight how effective packaging can transform local products into competitive market-ready brands. Through inspiring founder stories, practical insights, and real business growth journeys, participants explored the power of branding, visibility, and quality packaging in scaling businesses.

From startups like Somoi, Forest Spice, and Wapung Farm Fresh Farmer Producer Company Limited, the message was clear, great products deserve great packaging.

Together, we continue building stronger market access and better opportunities for Meghalaya’s entrepreneurs.
