Management decided to start this school in the Sweet Memory of Lala Ram Prasad founder of the D.A.V. Institution, a freedom fighter and also an editor of "VandeMatram." It was felt that the town needed the School which would impart education through English Medium and would also retain all the good traditions of Indian Culture. Ours is a modest contribution in this direction by making a child awar

e of the values cherished by our great men. The School has successfully completed 22 years. It has efficient and experienced staff who helps the children in acquiring not only academic excellence but also motivates them towards productive hobbies through Co-curricular activities. Ram Prasad DAV Public School had the privilege of hosting a Capacity Building Programme (CBP) on "Storytelling as Pedagogy". The session was conducted by the esteemed resource persons Ms. Neha Sachdeva and Ms. Manmohan Kaur, who shared valuable insights on integrating storytelling into classroom teaching to make learning more engaging, meaningful, and learner-centric.

The workshop provided teachers with innovative strategies and practical techniques to enhance students' creativity, critical thinking, communication skills, and emotional connection with learning through the art of storytelling. The interactive sessions inspired educators to transform their classrooms into vibrant spaces of imagination and experiential learning.

The programme was conducted successfully with the constant support and encouragement of the School Management Committee. It proved to be an enriching professional development experience for all participants, equipping them with effective pedagogical tools aligned with the vision of holistic education.
