Prompt and effective action taken by Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police Station led to the successful recovery and refund of the entire cheated amount of Rs. 35,000/- to the victim of a cyber fraud case.
In this connection, one Ali Murttuja, resident of Krishnapur, Kolkata–700102, lodged a complaint alleging that he had been cheated of Rs. 35,000/- in a cyber fraud incident. Immediately after receipt of the complaint, Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police Station initiated prompt legal and technical action and maintained continuous liaison with the concerned authorities and financial institutions.
Due to the swift response and dedicated efforts of Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police Station, the entire defrauded amount was successfully recovered and refunded to the complainant.
