As a part of 5 day training of trainers programme under social mapping was carried out at Village Nadiali, SAS Nagar for waste quantification, Gap identification for SLWM etc. Participants worked in groups on Village Sanitation Plan (VSP) preparation, IEC, interpersonal communication with focus on ODF plus and hygiene and promotion.

ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਪਖਾਨਾ ਦਿਵਸ ਦੇ ਮੌਕੇ ਜਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਭਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਦੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਤਿਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵੱਛਤਾ ਅਭਿਆਨ ਤਹਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ ਵਿਚ ਸਾਫ ਸਫਾਈ ਰੱਖਣ, ਗਿੱਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਕੇ ਕੁੜ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ, ਇੱਕ ਵਾਰ ਵਰਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਬੰਦ ਕਰਨ ਅਤੇ ਗੰਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਸਹੀ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਨਿਪਟਾਰੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ।
