National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Ropar in the second week of Orientation for the BTech first year students by organising talks and technical Sessions by NIELIT faculty.
Expert talk on "Blancing Mind, Heart and Spirit" was delivered by Dr. Satyam Aggarwal, Associate Professor, IIT Ropar. Puzzles and Games were also organised for the students in which they participated with full vigour. Senior students also took their awareness lectures.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Ropar celebrated the National Sports Day on 29th August, 2025 by organising an Inter University Badminton match between NIELIT Ropar and Lamrin Technical Skill University (LTSU) at the NIELIT Ropar campus.

The event not only promoted game spirit, fitness and teamwork but also strengthened the bond between the two Universities. The matches were cheered by Shri Deepak Wasan, Executive Director, NIELIT Ropar, Prof. Bhagwant Singh Satyal, Registrar, Prof.(Dr) H P S Dhami , Executive Dean, LTSU and faculty of students of NIELIT Ropar and LTSU.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Chandigarh continued with the orientation sessions full week for the BTech first year students by organising talks and lectures under the Technology, Industry, Academic and Technical Sessions. Expert talks were delivered by Dr. Mani Madhukar, Program lead, IBM innovation center for education on "Upskilling as per Industry and Free Certifications".

Labs Introduction, Cyber Security Awareness, AI Introduction, Students Clubs, Introduction to Moocs and Examination Regulations were delivered by the faculty of NIELIT Ropar. The students also participated in Sports activities on 29th August, 225, the National Sports Day, 2025.

National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) Chandigarh continued with the orientation sessions on the second day for the BTech first year students by organising an expert talk by Ms Prabhleen Kaur, People Transformation Specialist and an International Master Trainer & Facilitator, on "Time Management and Stress Management".
The talk/workshop was conducted in two sessions where she shared practical strategies and real-life tips for success. Students were guided how to balance academics, co-curriculars, and personal growth by learning effective time management techniques and overcoming stress.

The students were made to understand how to deal with stress and pressure in healthy ways and develop habits that promote focus, balance, and well-being.
