A delegation of the Backward Classes Commission, met the Hon'ble Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Sh. Rana K.P. Singh Ji. The delegation was presided over by Gurinder Pal Singh Billa, Vice-Chairman, BC Commission. The Members of the Commission discussed the problems of Backward Classes with Hon'ble Speaker Sahib and also submitted a Memorandum for getting the approval for The B.C. Act. The Hon'ble Speaker, assured the Members that he would make all possible efforts to get the problems resolved and the demands fulfilled. The Commission Members, Sh. Subhash Chand Rampur, S. Lakha Singh, Harmeet Kamboj Pamma, Sh. VED prakash, Sh. Raman Masih, Sh. Yashpal Dhiman and S. Surinder Singh Bittu were present in the delegation.

ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਨਿਆਂ, ਅਧਿਕਾਰਤਾ ਤੇ ਘੱਟ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ. ਸਾਧੂ ਸਿੰਘ ਧਰਮਸੋਤ ਨੇ ਪੱਛੜੇ ਵਰਗ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਾਕਾਤ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਕਿ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਪੱਛੜੇ ਵਰਗ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤਾਂ / ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਲਦੀ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ।
Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Welfare Minister Sadhu Singh Dharmsot calls on members of Backward Classes Commission, emphasizes various complaints/problems of people belonging to Backward Class community need to be resolved soon to ensure timely delivery of justice.
