Dr. Rajesh Singh, Scientist E, National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), Roorkee, participated as a Panelist in the workshop on “Sustainability and Circularity of Water and Wastewater Management in Rural and Peri-Urban Areas” organized at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The workshop served as an important platform for deliberations on sustainable water management, source sustainability, recharge strategies, and greywater management solutions for rural and peri-urban regions.
The event was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including Shri Ashok K. K. Meena (IAS), Secretary, Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti; Shri Yugal Kishore Joshi, Programme Director, NITI Aayog; Ms. Sunita Narain, Director General, Centre for Science and Environment (CSE); along with senior representatives from NITI Aayog, Central Ground Water Board, World Bank, Tata Trusts, and other leading organizations.
