**ViVeKaNaNdA NaGaR CoLoNy** This community is exclusively for the residents of Vivekanada nagar Colony and for the well wishers

This is the society of officers and the management trainees of Sonepur Bazari Area, Eastern Coalfields Limited. It has five types of residential buildings which are, 1)N.H.S. quarters for the drivers, electricians, and other workers, who are always at the service for the colony and its people,2)B,C,D-type quarters for the officers and, 3) The executive bungalows for the highest official. It also h

as a hostel cm canteen facility for those officers who are still bachelors and those who stay away from their family. The colony has a considerably big ground for outdoor games and has solidly built badminton court just in front of the Officers Club which is installed with high beam lights to make the play even more enjoyable in the evenings. It also has a volleyball court just beside it but is functionable only during the summers. The Club has a fully Air Conditioned Hall, an Air Conditioned Bar, a prayer room, a room cm kitchen from where all the mouth watering delicacies come out for the parties. Other indoor games that are provided in the club are, Table Tennis, Carrom Board,and playing cards. Once u r here.......m sure on leaving it, ur gonna miss it...>>!!!!!

Hello all. Its nice to see a lot of people actually coming up and liking the page. I, Sushant, along with Abhiroop, came up with this page a few years back. Unfortunately both of us do not stay in the colony any more, where we spent our entire childhood. As a result of it, we sort of developed an emotional connect with the place. Now that both of us, along with many others, are scattered in different parts of the country and abroad, we would want all of you to keep this page up and running by posting events, pics, videos etc. In short, anything and everything.
