Pramod Sharma, ACS, Assistant Commissioner & Executive Magistrate, Rangapara, conducted a follow-up inspection of schools in the Rangapara area to assess the ground situation and monitor progress.

📍 Aurobindo Vidyapith LP School

The inspection revealed encouraging improvements:

✅ Clean and well-maintained school premises
💧 Drinking water facility available
🚻 Toilets found clean
📒 Attendance register properly maintained
📚 Classes being conducted regularly and properly
🌱 Overall improvement observed

These positive developments reflect the importance of regular monitoring and follow-up to ensure a better learning environment for children.

📍 Rangapara Bengali MV School

The inspection, however, highlighted several areas requiring immediate attention:

⚠️ Very low student attendance/enrolment
📉 Students' academic performance found to be poor
👨‍🏫 Out of 4 teachers, 3 were engaged in census duty
🏫 Overall condition of the school found to be unsatisfactory

The visit underscores the need for focused intervention, strengthening of teaching resources, and continuous monitoring to improve both student learning outcomes and school infrastructure.

During the visit, the team inspected the ongoing works and reviewed the progress of the office infrastructure and associated facilities. Necessary observations and directions were shared to ensure quality ex*****on, timely completion and readiness of the office for effective public service delivery.

📍 Site Visit to Proposed Rangapara Circle Office

Shri James Aind, Additional District Commissioner (Revenue), along with Shri Kalyanjyoti Chutia, ACS, Assistant Commissioner, Rangapara & Circle Officer (i/c), Chariduar Revenue Circle, and Shri Azharul Alam, EO, Rangapara Municipal Board, visited the proposed site for the Rangapara Circle Office at Rangapara Town.

During the visit, the team reviewed the progress of the proposed office and took stock of the ongoing works and necessary arrangements.

The Circle Office is progressing steadily and is expected to be ready soon, further strengthening revenue administration and public service delivery in the area.

During the visit, he interacted with local residents and held a meeting with the concerned contractor to understand the issues and assess the progress of the project.

🛠️ The Co-District Commissioner (i/c) directed the contractor to complete the project at the earliest, strictly adhering to the approved plan, design, specifications and estimate, while ensuring quality workmanship.

Shri Pramod Sharma, ACS, Co-District Commissioner (i/c), Rangapara, along with the team of CDC Rangapara, visited various Community Level Federations (CLFs) under the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM), Balipara, and interacted with women beneficiaries and members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs).

🌱👜🐄 The women are actively engaged in diverse livelihood activities, including Juco bag making, nursery activities and livestock rearing, turning their skills and collective efforts into sustainable sources of income.

During the interaction, discussions were held on their livelihood activities, achievements, aspirations and challenges. Their enthusiasm, enterprise and determination reflect the growing role of women in strengthening household incomes and building resilient rural communities.

🤝 Such grassroots-level interactions encourage women-led entrepreneurship, promote financial independence and reinforce the spirit of collective action and sustainable rural development.
