Food License is Compulsory for all persons who are doing business like restaurant, dhaba, Hotel, Rice mill, Dal mill, ration store,water packaging, manufacturing of food items like-achar papad-bari-muraba-chips-namkeen-sweets-tofee-bread-biscuit-cake etc, Food license is compulsory for all the food business operators, whether they are retailer, wholeseller, Manufacturer, Repackers, Packers, Transporters, Storage, Godowns, canteen, Hotel, Mess, Dhaba, food stall, fish & meat sellers etc. if anybody is found doing food business without a food license anywhere in India, he or she may be fined upto rupees Five Lakhs and 6 months imprisonment can be done.
