*SELF-PROCLAIMED YOUTH CONGRESS SPOKESPERSON’S RESIGNATION CLAIM DISMISSED*
*District Youth Congress Clarifies Shazan Malik Holds No Official Position, Not Affiliated with Party*
RAJOURI, MARCH 20: The District Youth Congress has categorically refuted claims circulating on social media regarding the alleged resignation of one Shazan Malik, who purportedly described himself as a spokesperson of the Youth Congress.
In a clear and firm statement, District Youth Congress President Mohd Rafeeq Choudhary stated that Shazan Malik has never been appointed to any պաշտոնal position within the Youth Congress nor has he ever been affiliated with the organization in any official capacity.
“The individual in question is neither a member nor a recognized office bearer of the Youth Congress. Any claim made by him regarding holding a spokesperson’s post or tendering resignation is completely baseless and misleading,” Choudhary asserted.
He further emphasized that the Youth Congress follows a structured and transparent process for appointments, and no such designation has ever been issued in the name of Shazan Malik. The party has urged the public and media to verify facts before circulating unsubstantiated claims on social platforms.
The clarification comes amid growing concerns over misinformation and unauthorized individuals misrepresenting themselves as party functionaries, potentially misleading the public and damaging the party’s image.
The District Youth Congress reiterated its commitment to organizational discipline and authenticity, warning against the spread of false narratives under the party’s name.
