BLACK DAY IN THE HISTORY OF FOREST DEPARTMENT

Sri. P. Vivek I.F.S.,District Forest Officer, Annamayya of the Andhra Pradesh State Forest Department tenders his official condolences to the Forest Range Officer Srinivasa Rao in Bhadradri, Telangana State. Forest ranger officer Srinivasa Rao in Bhadradri was attacked with knives and killed by the Guthi Koya tribals in Bhadradri Kothagudem district on Wednesday. When he stopped them from cutting down plantation plants in Bendalapadu village of Chandrugonda mandal.

This incident is seriously condemned and a solidarity movement has to began to stop this cruel activities. Such attacks on government employees, who were performing their duties, should not be tolerated and the culprits should be severely punished.
I sincerely feel our staffs needs more protection in coming days and many international association list our indian rangers and forest staffs as one of the most dangerous job in the entire world . It's high time to defend our staffs through weapon and lawful use of weapon on delivering the duty . Defending one's life is basic right for everyone and it must not be denied to anyone and it must be given to every staffs inspite of the ranks in the forest hierarchy and place of posting in forest department (Not just for red sander area sir ) , Department legal measures should collectively defend every lawfull usage of weapon in case

Disheartening event and may his brave soul rest in peace .
