As your first birthday approaches, we have gone over many options for the perfect way to celebrate this milestone and you. You have filled our lives with so much happiness tha
t any present or celebration falls short of the love you have given us and the meaning you have brought to our lives. You give us hope, the strength to go on, the determination to never give up and most importantly, unconditional love which our hearts were not even aware of. The brave struggle you went through and the way you fought for your life during the eight hour open heart surgery is an inspiration to us all. That said, the joy of watching you grow each day, looking at your angelic smile and pretty almond eyes, reassures us that it was all worth it. We would do it all over again if we had to. On this your birthday and every year that follows, we would like to give one more child and family the same opportunity we had. It is our wish and hope that this trust is able to support the surgery of at least one more precious child each year who would otherwise not be able to afford it. Through this we hope to spread the happiness that we share all around and truly celebrate your presence in our lives.
