🇮🇳 National Group Song Competition 2026 – A Celebration of Patriotism and Musical Talent 🇮🇳

The National Group Song Competition 2026 was successfully organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Pimpri-Chinchwad Branch, on Sunday, 9th August 2026, at Swatantryaveer Savarkar Mandal Sabhagraha, Nigdi.

A total of 6 teams from different schools participated in the competition. Each team presented two patriotic group songs — one in Sanskrit and the other in Hindi, showcasing their musical talent, teamwork and deep sense of patriotism.

The programme commenced with Bharat Mata Pratima Pujan and Deep Prajwalan, graced by CA Shri Kishorji Gujar, (BVP National Auditor General) followed by Vande Mataram, creating a deeply patriotic atmosphere.

BVP Branch Sanskar Head- Shri Mahesh Gajendragadkar explained the competition rules, regulations and guidelines to the participating teams.

The competition was judged by esteemed judges Shri Avinash Lele and Smt. Sharmila Shinde, who carefully evaluated the performances.

The programme was beautifully compered by Dr. Sonali Kulkarni, who conducted the proceedings smoothly.

The performances by all six teams were highly appreciated. The students presented their Sanskrit and Hindi compositions with enthusiasm, discipline, confidence and a strong spirit of national pride.

Dr. Uday Joshi gave an insightful introduction to the Chief Guest, Pandit Dr. Nandkishorji Kapote, highlighting his illustrious journey as an internationally renowned Kathak dancer and his significant contribution to the promotion of Indian art and culture.

The Chief Guest, Pandit Dr. Nandkishorji Kapote, President of Sanskar Bharati, West Prant, Pimpri-Chinchwad, addressed the gathering and appreciated the efforts of the students, teachers and organizers. His inspiring words added great value to the occasion.

🥉 3rd Prize: Saraswati Vidyamandir, Talegaon

The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Shri Vijay Prabhudesai, Branch Secretary, who expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, judges, participating schools, teachers, students and all those who contributed to making the competition a grand success.

🇮🇳 Bharat Ko Jaano – Branch Level Quiz Competition 2026 🇮🇳

The Branch Level of the Bharat Ko Jaano Quiz Competition was successfully organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad, Pimpri Chinchwad Branch on 2nd August 2026 at Swatantrya Veer Savarkar Mandal, Nigdi.

The programme commenced with Bharat Mata Pratima Pujan, followed by the rendition of Vande Mataram, creating a truly patriotic atmosphere.

A special appreciation goes to Shri Mahesh Gajendragadkar, whose tireless efforts ensured enthusiastic participation from schools. A total of 18 teams participated in the competition:
🔹 Senior Group: 9 Teams
🔹 Junior Group: 9 Teams

The quiz questions were meticulously prepared and presented by Shri Sunit Oak and Dr. Ramchandra Apte, making the competition both informative and engaging. The quiz was confidently anchored by Smt. Angha Patil and Smt. Meera Dandekar, while scorekeeping was efficiently managed by Smt. Aarti Prabhudesai and Smt. Sarita Agarwal.

Students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their knowledge of India’s rich history, culture, heritage, and achievements. At the conclusion of the competition, Shri Mahesh Gajendragadkar announced the Top Three Winning Teams in both the Senior and Junior categories.

The prizes were distributed by the esteemed Chief Guests, Shri Shashikantji Padamwar (Prantiya Adhyaksha, BVP Paschim Prant) and Smt. Manjusha Tai Gogte (Pune Mahanagar Adhyaksha, BVP), who congratulated all the participants and encouraged them to continue expanding their knowledge of our great nation.

On behalf of Bharat Vikas Parishad, Pimpri Chinchwad Branch, Shri Sunit Oak congratulated the winning teams, extended his best wishes for the next level of the competition, and shared valuable guidance to help them excel at higher Levels.

The programme concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.

गुरू वंदन छात्र अभिनंदन
भारत विकास परिषद, पिंपरी चिंचवड शाखेने 'गुरू वंदन छात्र अभिनंदन' कार्यक्रम श्री रेणुका देवी विद्यालय, मोरवाडी, पिंपरी येथे आयोजित करून गुरूपौर्णिमा (29.07.2026) साजरी केली.
कार्यक्रमाची सुरुवात सरस्वती व भारत माता पूजन करून करण्यात आली.
सौ अनघाताई पाटील यांनी भारत विकास परिषदे बद्दल माहिती दिली. सौ मीराताई दांडेकर यांनी गुरूपौर्णिमेचे महत्व, गुरू व शिष्य यांचे नाते, गुरूंचे योगदान यावर माहिती दिली. सौ माधुरी आपटे यांनी गुरू विद्यार्थांवर उत्तम संस्कार करून त्यांना कसे घडवतात या बद्दल गोष्टी मधून माहिती दिली.
शाळेच्या गुरुजनांना विद्यार्थ्यांनी गुलाब पुष्प देऊन व वंदन करून त्यांच्या प्रति आदर व्यक्त केला. सौ मीरा दांडेकर यांनी या वर्षभरात प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्याने एखाद्या उत्तम कामाचा संकल्प करून तो पूर्णत्वास न्यावा असे आवाहन केले. हिच खरी गुरुजनांना गुरूदक्षिणा! विद्यार्थ्यांनी त्याला उत्स्फूर्त प्रतिसाद दिला.
मुलांनी सुरेल गाण्यातून गुरुजनांप्रति आदर व्यक्त केला.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga Day Celebration with Young Minds 🧘‍♂️
Bharat Vikas Parishad, Pimpri Chinchwad Branch, joyfully celebrated Yoga Day with the enthusiastic students of Arya Vidya Mandir, Pimpri. Nearly 400 children participated with great energy, discipline, and enthusiasm, making the event truly memorable.
The yoga session was conducted by Smt. Sarita Agarwal, a Ministry of Ayush Certified Yoga Protocol Instructor and an active member of Bharat Vikas Parishad. Through simple and effective yoga practices, she inspired the students to adopt yoga as a way of life for better physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Artificial Limb Distribution Camp

Bharat Vikas Parishad, South Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad Branches, jointly organized an Artificial Limb Distribution Camp on 16 June 2026 at Dr. B. S. T. R. Hospital, inside MIMER Medical College, Talegaon-Dabhade.

The program commenced with the ceremonial worship of the portraits of Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekananda, followed by the rendition of Vande Mataram.

Artificial limbs were distributed to 24 differently-abled beneficiaries whose measurements had been taken during a camp held on 30 May 2026. The beneficiaries received the prosthetic devices at the hands of the distinguished guests present on the occasion.

The event was graced by Shri Laxmikant Kole, Managing Director of Shri Balaji Valve Components Limited; Directors Smt. Kole and Shri Srinivas Kole; Pune District Sanghchalak Shri Vinodji Bansal; Bharat Vikas Parishad National Auditor General Shri Kishor Gujar; Western Maharashtra Province President Shri Shashikant Padamwar; Sw-Aadhar Kendra Head Shri Jayant Jeste; and Bharat Vikas Parishad Pimpri Chinchwad Branch President Shri Darshan Dugad.

The camp received generous financial support through the CSR initiative of Shri Balaji Valve Components Limited.

During the event, Shri Laxmikant Kole appreciated the various social service initiatives undertaken by Bharat Vikas Parishad and expressed particular satisfaction with the artificial limb project of Sw-Aadhar Kendra. He also assured his continued support for such humanitarian endeavors in the future.

Shri Vinodji Bansal highlighted the transformative impact of artificial limbs, stating that they not only improve mobility but also enhance self-confidence and help beneficiaries lead more independent and dignified lives.

The artificial limbs were fabricated and fitted by Shri Mohammed Ali and his team of skilled technicians from Sw-Aadhar Kendra. They also provided detailed guidance to the beneficiaries regarding the proper use, care, and maintenance of the prosthetic devices.

The success of the camp was made possible through the dedicated efforts of Smt. Meenakshi Patankar and Shri Aniruddha Patankar from the South Pune Branch, along with Shri Darshan Dugad, Dr. Madhuri Apte, Dr. Ramchandra Apte, Shri Sunit Oak, Shri Damodar Kulkarni, Dr. Sonali Kulkarni, Smt. Padmashri Upadhye, Shri Dhanraj Upadhye, Shri Rajiv Agarwal, Smt. Vanita Lakade, Shri Sanjay Lakade, and Shri Sanjay Sainyane from the Pimpri Chinchwad Branch.

The management of MIMER Medical College and Dr. B. S. T. R. Hospital, Talegaon-Dabhade, extended invaluable support by providing the auditorium free of cost and ensuring excellent arrangements for the smooth conduct of the camp.

The proceedings were efficiently conducted by Dr. Sonali Kulkarni.

The program concluded with the National Anthem.
