On 26th February, Rangoli Competition was held in Hanuman Temple, Laxminagar near Kothrud, with young children as a part of the Saiyam Program activity on Anti-Addiction Awareness Session with the help of MASHAL (Maharashtra Social Housing and Action League).
22 children participated in the competition, and Around 37 including parents and children were present in the anti-addiction Awareness session taken by Mr. Vijay Desai from Muktangan Rehabilitation Center, Pune. .

Our Incubator program works vertically, in order to identify and propagate new models to tackle addiction before it starts to spread and harm society. Even has set up an incubator fund to support the selected initiatives.
There are two ways to implement the incubator program; i.e. through Grant Program and Pitch Program.

The current model of Saiyam entails master trainer from JPIP-Jnana Prabodhini's Institute of Psychology training the teachers, who then reach out to schools and train the students. This complete engagement happens in-person with very little digital content due to tech issues in low-income private schools. Under the Digital Saiyam initiative we want to explore more models of awareness creation possible and reach out to the remotest areas across the nation.

The Behavior Change Model aims to bring an in-depth impact amongst adolescents from the age group of 13 to 16 years and will inculcate good personal and social behavior with respect to substance abuse and digital addictions.
It will ensure complete self-control and self-reliance in youth and will promote the foundation of thoughts for anti-addictive behavior through certain techniques.

Saiyam Community Program focuses on creating an enabling ecosystem for the youth living in the community to become resilient towards addiction. The goal is to improve awareness in targeted communities on drug and substance abuse and its ill effects on health and quality of life. We plan to educate the youth, their family members, community leaders, SHGs, and vendors who are involved in the supply chain of substances.

Saiyam School Training Program focuses on empowering Teachers and Volunteers by building their mentoring potential to facilitate self-regulation habits amongst adolescents to avoid substance abuse, media abuse, and sexually risky behavior, Proper focus was given on Sexuality Education and Gender Sensitization Programs to develop self-awareness amongst the adolescents.

How safe is the internet today, in the 21st Century?
We all should discuss making the Internet a safer place, using www in a responsible manner. Our moral duty includes abiding by proper Internet etiquette to establish goals for a better future.
Similarly, in Saiyam we raise awareness of getting rid of this unhealthy digital routine. It’s also a notion to encourage parents; to have open conversations regarding the benefits and risks of using the internet with their children.
It's better to stay safe and alert.

Saiyam from its very origin has been focusing in creating awareness amongst the masses, targeting the adolescents, making them responsible to create healthy practices, so that a less risky society can be formed.
In a broader sense, our very aim has been to reduce the addictive tendencies within a particular community through the reinforced awareness programs.

World Cancer Day, introduced as a day of encouragement for the people to fight through this deadly disease, is aimed towards allocating resources to create a just and cancer-free world.

In we not only instill prevention of, and abstinence through self-control and self-regulation amongst adolescents. We also focus on spreading awareness about substance abuse which in terms can lower the risk of cancer in a number of ways. We aim to close the gaps and be concerned about things that can lead a helping hand in preventing it from happening, from a very early age.

Our focus has been on stopping the instances of addiction before they can even take root. Saiyam successfully managed to increase the willingness of the youth to resolve their behavior from being addicted and falling prey to this deadly incurable disease.
