Dr Abhijit Vaidya

1.Dr Abhijit Vaidya is Founder National President of Arogya Sena (Health Army). having 14000 volunteers across 7 states, treated 88,000 + patients free of cost in various disasters with medicines worth Rs 89+ Lac in last 24 years. AS has fought for many Public, social, political issues.
2.He is also Founder Chairman of S.M.Joshi Memorial Medical Association, Bhai Vaidya Foundation, Sahriday (Public Forum For Prevention of Heart Diseases), Smita Patil International Film Festival (SPIFF).
3.Dr Vaidya is also Ex National Gen Secretary of Socialist Party (India), Ex National President of Socialist Yuvjan Sabha,Ex Managing Trustee of 75 years old organization Rashtra Seva Dal. Dr Vaidya is a practising Preventive Cardiologist and Director of Sanjeevani Cardiac Care Center and is involved with mass education activities for prevention of heart diseases.
5.He also is a founder of Janlok Medicals, a chain of Generic Medical Shops and Janlok Diagnostic Center, a ultra modern low cost medical diagnostic centre.
6. He is author of many books and editor of a magazine Purogami Jangarjana.
