𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐩𝐮𝐳𝐡𝐚-𝐄𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐦 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐲 ( through piravom and koothattukulam).
If you look at Google satellite maps, it is clearly understandable that, there is no need for touching Muvattupuzha, for connectivity from Thodupuzha to Ernakulam, as Thodupuzha clearly has coordinates in Southern and Eastern directions. This highway will help thodupuzha to grow up as satellite town of cochin with great faster connectivity to cochin
Proposed plan is Thodupuzha – Uppukandam(kklm) – Anchalpetty - Nechoor Bridge(pvm) - Ernakulam.
Through pre-existing ,straight roads avoiding the present curves with 50 -60 k.ms will get fast connectivity to Kochi from Thodupuzha side , with less traffic .
However, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 suburab 𝐨𝐟 cochin like Piravom , 𝐊𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐦 , 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐮𝐝𝐚, maneed and thirumarady 𝐞𝐭𝐜.To get kochi metropolitan region standard
development of this highway, which can significantly help improve the accessibility of the rural southern/eastern side of Ernakulam district especially the two municipality (Piravom and Koothattukulam) with new straight and wide roads .
• This route can also access kochi-piravom- Koothattukulam – Pala – Kumily – Tamilnadu with easy access to Chottanikkara, Sabarimala & Thekkady.
