Krishi Vigyan Kendra Phek is observing New India Manthan Sankalp se Siddhi programme since 19th August 2017 with the aim of boosting the farmers and other stake holders to double the income of the farmers by 2022. In order to achieve the goal of doubling the income a semi intensive mithun rearing component was introduced in the targeted village, Gidemi, Phek. on 29th August 2017. The programme was graced by Dr. R.S Gandhi, Addl. Director General, Animal Science (AP&B), ICAR New Delhi and Dr. Abhijit Mitra, Director NRC on Mithun and Scientist from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Phek.
