Former Indian Idol winner Prashant Tamang is no more.
Prashant Tamang, the Indian Idol Season 3 winner and a widely admired singer and actor, passed away on Thursday at the age of 42, sending shockwaves across the country, particularly within the Gorkha community where he was regarded as a cultural icon.
According to reports, Tamang was declared brought dead at a hospital in Dwarka, New Delhi, at around 9:00 AM. He had reportedly returned to the national capital after attending a performance in Arunachal Pradesh.
