The platform aims to create a dialogue between the maker and the buyer by working directly with artisans from every corner of the country. DUAAR aims to protect and promote the art which
showcases the timeless creations made by artisans who are largely unaware of the real worth of their products. It also works towards capacity building in artisans and makes interventions in design and technology. We have created a marketplace which is as easily accessible to the artisans, as it is to the consumers. Our mission is to encourage under privileged artisans to acquire new skills and also to increase their visibility, wages and making aware of latest technology to get best reach. We have been helping rural artisans earn their livelihoods and have also been promoting traditional handicraft techniques. We sell the artisan’s products by their own individual brand names to provide them proper exposure and visibility. We also wants be an ultimate online self and people-sourced knowledge resource for crafts and rare & endangered art or products across the country.
