The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED), Shimla successfully organized the Closing Ceremony of the PRC Fire Safety Course and the Inauguration of a New Batch, sponsored by DGR, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
The program was graced by Chief Guest Mr. R. P. Nepeta, Commandant 2nd Battalion Home Guards, and Guest of Honour Col. Bharat Chandani, ARTRAC Command Shimla.
Dr. Anil Sharma, Regional Head IEDUP, and Mr. Rajender Thakur, Founder & CEO – OZIO Organic Pvt. Ltd., shared valuable insights and new business ideas with the participants. Mr. Mamraj Sharma, Campus Coordinator, along with all IED Shimla staff members, was also present during the session.

The ceremony concluded with appreciation for the completed batch and a warm welcome to the newly enrolled trainees.

On 9th March 2026, IED Shimla successfully conducted the final assessment of the PRC Course on Fire Safety (Course ID: 418-12-2025). The assessment was carried out by Yuva Skill Foundation, an NCVET approved assessment agency.
A total of 31 candidates appeared for the assessment, and all 31 candidates successfully participated in the examination process. The assessment was conducted smoothly in the presence of the authorized assessor as per the prescribed guidelines.
This marks the successful completion of the assessment phase of the PRC Fire Safety training program at IED Shimla.

Today 25th Feb 2026 the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development organized an informative guest session on Jan Aushadhi. The session was delivered by Rohish Sharma, Training Officer, Jan Aushadhi Department, Government of Himachal Pradesh.
The session highlighted the objectives, benefits, and public health impact of the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Janaushadhi Pariyojana, with a focus on affordable, quality generic medicines and opportunities for entrepreneurship through Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
The program was further graced by the virtual presence of Lt. Col. Angad Behal, Joint Director, DRZ North Command, whose insights added significant value to the session.
Overall, the guest session was highly informative and motivating, enhancing participants’ understanding of Jan Aushadhi initiatives and encouraging them to explore avenues in healthcare entrepreneurship.

Today, 24th Feb 20 Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED) Project Office, Shimla organized a guest session on Common Service Centres (CSC).
The session was delivered by Kaku Kapoor, District CSC Manager, Himachal Pradesh.
The programme was further enriched by the virtual presence of Lt. Col. Angad, Joint Director, DRZ North Command.
The session provided valuable insights into CSC services, digital entrepreneurship opportunities, and self-employment avenues, benefiting all participants.

IEDUP Shimla successfully organized the Inaugural & Closing Ceremony of DGR-sponsored PRCs.

The programme was graced by Sh. Rajesh Sharma (IFS), State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Government of Himachal Pradesh, who appreciated the structured skill development initiatives for defence personnel transitioning into civilian life.

Col. Amit Aukta, ARTRAC Shimla, also addressed the participants and emphasized discipline, continuous learning, and professional growth for a successful second career.

The event included the Inaugural Address of PRC on Digital Marketing and the Closing Ceremony of PRC on DMLT, with participants from ongoing batches of Stock Marketing and Fire Safety also present.
100+ JCOs/ORs participated in the programme.

Under the leadership of Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Regional Head, IEDUP, the event reaffirmed IEDUP’s commitment towards empowering defence personnel through industry-oriented training.

Inaugural address of DGR Sponsored PRC on Account Assistant using Tally at IED Dharamshala

IEDUP Project office-CII MCM Institute, Dharamshala- successfully conducted the Opening Address of the DGR-sponsored PRC on "Account Assistant using Tally" on dated 11 Feb 2026.
These resettlement training programs are being conducted by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IEDUP), MSME & Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The session was delivered by Col. Ramesh Ranwa, Headquarter-33 Mountain Brigade Mechloadganj Dharamshala, in the presence of Mr. Harsh Kumar, Programme Coordinator IEDUP, along with the dedicated IED Dharmshala Campus Team.
A total of 28 JCOs/ORs are enrolled under this PRC batch.

IEDUP Dharamshala successfully concluded the DGR-sponsored PRC on Store Manager on 16th January 2026.

The virtual closing address was delivered by Lt. Col. Angad Singh Behl, Joint Director, DRZ North, and Sh. Vinod Shukla, Chief Coordinator, IEDUP. Senior IEDUP officials Anurag Mathur, R.B. Mishra & B.D. Bijola also joined the session.

The programme was conducted in the presence of Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Regional Head IEDUP, along with the IEDUP Dharamshala campus team.
A total of 39 JCOs/ORs successfully completed the training.

The Closing & Opening Ceremony of the Pre-Release Courses (PRCs) sponsored by the Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, was successfully organized today at Keonthal Banquet Hall, Khalini, Shimla.
These resettlement training programs are being conducted by the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IEDUP), MSME & Export Promotion, Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Col. Amit Aukta, ARTRAC Shimla, who delivered an inspiring address on discipline, commitment, and opportunities after military service.
Special Guest Sh. Jitender Sharma, Regional Head NSDC, appreciated the joint efforts of DGR and IEDUP in empowering defence personnel through high-quality skill development initiatives.

The event started with a formal Welcome Address by Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Regional Head IEDUP, who emphasized IEDUP’s commitment to enabling smooth second-career pathways for JCOs/ORs in Himachal Pradesh.

The ceremony witnessed the presence of Sh. Ashish Jaiswal, Senior Faculty, IEDUP Lucknow, along with Campus Coordinator Mr. Mamraj Sharma and the IED Shimla Project Office team.

A total of 100 JCOs/ORs from various PRC batches—Fire Safety, Medical Lab Technician (DMLT), and ongoing resettlement courses—participated in the event.

The program concluded by reaffirming the dedication of DGR and IEDUP to support defence personnel in building successful civilian careers.

Closing & Certificate Distribution Ceremony – DGR-PRC on Warehouse Management

📅 24th October 2025 | IED Project Office, Jammu

The Closing & Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the DGR-PRC on Warehouse Management was successfully conducted at the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED) Project Office, Jammu.

The event was graced by Lt. Col. Angad Singh Behl, Joint Director, DRZ North, as the Chief Guest, and he was warmly welcomed by Mr. Manish Pathania, Project Coordinator, IED Jammu.

In his address, Lt. Col. Behl emphasized the importance of warehouse management skills and encouraged participants to utilize their training for future career opportunities. Certificates were awarded to all successful candidates in recognition of their completion of the course.

The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Manish Pathania, expressing gratitude to DRZ North, the dignitaries, and the entire IED team for their continued support and guidance.

All participants attended the ceremony in their regimental uniforms, marking a dignified and memorable closure to the training program.

Inaugural Address of DGR-Sponsored PRC on Store Manager at IED Dharamshala 🇮🇳

The Directorate General Resettlement (DGR) sponsored Pre-Release Course (PRC) on Store Manager was inaugurated on 15th October 2025 at the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED), Dharamshala.

The inaugural address was delivered by Col. Avinash Balasaheb Mogal, Dah Division. The course, which commenced on 13th October 2025, includes 39 JCOs/ORs from the Tri-Services and aims to equip them with essential management and entrepreneurial skills for a successful post-retirement career.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma, Regional Head, IEDUP, and Ms. Manu Dhiman, Campus Head, IED Dharamshala.

IEDUP remains dedicated to supporting defence personnel through quality training and skill development for a confident transition into civilian life. 💼✨
