Participation of IIG in recently concluded National Rojgar Mela held on 23rd May 2026 at Mumbai

Six newly recruited employees from IIG participated in the event, where Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, addressed the gathering virtually.

Adding to the pride, Shri Sujit Patil and Shri Kishore Lokras were among only 25 candidates shortlisted from nearly 300 candidates to receive their appointment offers directly on stage from the Chief Guest Shri Harsh Malhotra, Hon’ble Minister of State for the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.

Congratulations to all the new appointees, and best wishes for a bright journey ahead at IIG

We are delighted to share that scientists from the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism have secured three prestigious extramural research projects funded by Ministry of Earth Sciences Government of India and ISRO - Indian Space Research Organisation

1. Soil Moisture Measurements to Modelling and Scaling (Funded by MOES)
