इंटरनेशनल यूनियन फॉर कंजर्वेशन ऑफ नेचर (IUCN) के अनुसार, जंगली जीवों और वनस्पतियों की 8,400+ प्रजातियाँ गंभीर रूप से संकटग्रस्त हैं, जबकि लगभग 30,000 अधिक लुप्तप्राय या असुरक्षित हैं।

जैव विविधता और पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र सेवा पर वैश्विक आकलन रिपोर्ट के अनुसार पृथ्वी पर एक चौथाई प्रजातियां पहले से ही विलुप्त होने के खतरे का सामना कर रही हैं।

ईको सिस्टम्स , हैबिटेट और प्रजातियों के निरंतर नुकसान से पृथ्वी पर सभी जीवन को खतरा है, हम इंसानों को भी । पूरी दुनिया में लोग भोजन, ईंधन, दवाओं, आवास, कपड़ों से लेकर अपनी जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए वन्य जीवन और जैव विविधता आधारित संसाधनों पर निर्भर हैं और कई लाख लोग अपनी आजीविका के स्रोत के रूप में भी प्रकृति पर ही निर्भर हैं।

वन्यजीवों को बचाना हम सभी के लिए भी एक इंसान के रूप में महत्वपूर्ण है।
आइए हैबिटेट और ईको सिस्टम्स की बहाली का समर्थन करें और मनुष्यों द्वारा संसाधनों के उत्तरदायी एवं जिम्मेदारी से किये जाने वाले उपयोग को समर्थन करें।

VANYODDHA, as we would like to call them, are the Forest Guards who work as the frontline warriors of our wildlife areas. Through this film we have tried to share their life and their work with the world. This International Tiger Day, we dedicate our film to the Forest Guards that dedicate their life towards protecting our forests.
The film is an initiative by JOURNEYS and GREETOE RESORTS in collaboration with the FOREST DEPARTMENT OF PANNA TIGER RESERVE.
