Stop paying high electricity bills! Turn your rooftop into a power plant and enjoy zero electricity bills every month
How to apply
1) Residential Consumer
Step-1
Visit the site pmsuryaghar.gov.in, the national portal & make your application online
Step-2
Provide the following details for registration.
• Select your State
• Select Goa Electricity Department
• Enter your Electricity Consumer Number
• Enter Mobile Number
• Enter Email
• Please follow as per the direction from the portal.
Step-3
Login with Consumer Number & Mobile No.
Step-4
Apply for the Rooftop Solar as per the form.
Step-5
Fill out the online application form.
Step-6
Receive online feasibility report from the Department. Pay the Electricity Department Rs. 500/- against the Demand Note for the solar plant fee.
Step-7
Choose online the vendor for your Solar Plant & Get the solar plant Installed. Once installation is over, submit the plant details and apply for net meter.
Step-8
After installation of net meter and inspection by Goa Electricity Dept., they will generate commissioning certificate from portal.
Step-9
Once you get the commissioning report. Submit the bank account details and a cancelled cheque through the portal. You will receive your subsidy in your bank account.
2) Commercial/Industrial/Educational Institution/Others
Apply on Goa Solar Portal: www.goasolar.in
