Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town is committed to actively raising the quality of life for the under-privileged since 1998 This is a 100% charity school.

Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town is committed to actively raising the quality of life for the under-privileged since 1998 through its various community service projects. Through SAKSHARTA- our education grants project, we have opened the school doors for many. We offer grants annually to deserving students of Medicine, Engineering & other professional stream to ensure that these Rotary Scholars are supported upto their graduation. As on date we have invested over 80 lacs. Under SUDHARTA- the disability corrective surgery project we admit patients with various forms of disability. Each patient undergoes numerous surgical operations to correct their physical defect. We have conducted over 2000 surgical operations while successfully treating over 700 disabled persons from Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. It is very encouraging to see these children, treated by us, pursue their studies and some even gainfully employed. SAHAYATA- Home Care Nursing School, commenced January 2015. Youth from economically backward families are given free education & vocational training, gainfully employed and elevated to respected level in community. And with the availability of trained Home Care Nurses, the absence of care to elders at home is resolved, helping to keep families together. With your continuous support, we pledge to carry on these projects with added enthusiasm.

Into the Mist: Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town, Monsoon Escape to Chorla Ghat! 🌲✨
What happens when 24 Rotary members, Anns, and Annets head into the mountains? An unforgettable weekend of pure fellowship, laughter, and memories! 🏔️ We took over the stunning Swapnagandha Resort, embracing the ultimate monsoon experience with driving rain and crisp mountain chills. From thrill-seekers tackling a rugged mountain trek and others enjoying the scenic slope train to a mesmerizing local cultural dance and an epic, late-night game of Antakshari, the energy was unmatched!
Day 2 brought morning nature walks, splashes in the valley-facing infinity pool, and a spectacular local buffet feast. A massive highlight, celebrating Ann Aditi Peshwe’s birthday at literally every single spot across the property! 🎂
Heavy rain, loud laughter, and stronger bonds—the true spirit of Rotary fellowship - was at an all-time high! 🤝❤️

Goa Carbon Limited, as part of its CSR initiative, distributed football kits to 20 schools across Goa, benefiting around 500 young football enthusiasts and support staff. The project, valued at over ₹10 lakh, was implemented by the Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town Charitable Trust.

The distribution programme was held at the Dempo Football Academy, Ella, with Shrinivas V. Dempo, Chairman and Managing Director of the Dempo Group of Companies, as the Chief Guest.

Under the initiative, each participating school received complete football kits for 22 students and three support staff, comprising jerseys, shorts, football shoes, stockings and shin guards, along with four footballs per school.

Speaking on the occasion, Rtn. Gauresh Nayak, Chairman of the Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town Charitable Trust, thanked Goa Carbon Limited and Shrinivas Dempo for entrusting the Trust with the implementation of the project. He highlighted the importance of providing young footballers with the right equipment and encouragement to develop their talent.

Addressing the young players, Shrinivas Dempo complimented Goa Carbon Limited, Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town, the participating schools and all those involved in the initiative. Recalling the vision of former Goa Chief Minister Late Manohar Parrikar, Dempo spoke of Parrikar's aspiration to see Goans constitute 50 per cent of the Indian football team. Taking that vision further, Dempo said his own dream was to see the Dempo football team eventually comprise 100 per cent Goan players. He expressed confidence that this was an achievable goal, possibly within the next five years, particularly with grassroots support and the involvement of organisations such as the Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town.

The event concluded with a symbolic handover of the kits, with the dignitaries tossing footballs into the air, celebrating Goa's passion for the sport and the aspirations of its young players.

Rtn. Madhav Nevrekar, President of the Rotary Club of Panaji Mid-Town, proposed the vote of thanks. Rtn. Siddha Sardessai, Project Coordinator, anchored the programme.
