Krishi Mach Expo 2026 (13–15 March 2026), supported by the State Support Mission, Haryana, Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM), was inaugurated by Dr. Raj Nehru, OSD to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Haryana and Director General, SJHIFM, in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Renu Vig, Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University.

The three-day expo provided a dynamic platform for showcasing innovations in agricultural mechanization, agri-technology, and research-driven solutions, bringing together farmers, researchers, agri-startups, industry stakeholders and academic institutions.

Addressing the event, Dr. Nehru emphasized the need to integrate modern technologies in agriculture to enhance productivity and profitability. He highlighted the importance of strengthening industry–academia collaboration to ensure effective technology transfer of innovations developed in universities and research institutions. He also stressed that patents and research outcomes should be actively promoted for industrial use and commercialization so that their benefits reach farmers, startups, and the wider agriculture sector.

The event underscored the role of such platforms in fostering innovation, facilitating knowledge exchange, and supporting sustainable and inclusive growth in the agriculture sector. NITI Aayog

A training programme on strengthening institutional capacity for Right to Information (RTI) compliance was organized today by the State Support Mission (SSM), Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM).

The session was delivered by Shri Yagya Dutt Chugh, Under Secretary at the State Information Commission, who shared insights on RTI provisions, compliance requirements, and best practices for effective information management in government institutions. The session was interactive, enabling participants to engage in discussions and clarify practical aspects related to RTI implementation.

A total of 53 participants from 16 departments of the Government of Haryana attended the programme, demonstrating strong engagement towards promoting transparency and strengthening good governance.

A pilot initiative to improve the management of Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) among children was launched in Panipat and Palwal under the State Support Mission (SSM), Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM), Government of Haryana.

The programme will provide feeding at Nutrition Rehabilitation Centres (NRCs) along with medical monitoring and caregiver counselling, with support from the Health and Women & Child Development Departments.

The programme also covered the functioning and operation of the building's internal fire safety systems, ensuring that all staff are well-versed in emergency procedures. The session was conducted in an interactive format, during which officers and officials actively participated and raised relevant queries, reflecting the organization's dedication to maintaining a safe and informed work environment. The session was addressed by officers from Haryana Fire and Emergency Services Panchkula and HSVP.

The workshop focused on bridging academia and industry through innovation-driven, practical technologies. Experts shared insights on Industry 4.0, AI, IoT advanced manufacturing, energy efficiency and sustainable solutions.

The event saw active participation from industry, researchers, start-ups and students fostering collaboration and advancing innovation-led industrial growth in Haryana.

A one-day Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on Sustainable Paddy Straw Management was successfully organized by Panjab University, the Lead Knowledge Institute of State Support Mission, under Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM) to address the issue of stubble burning and explore sustainable, farmer-centric solutions.

The programme brought together farmers, policymakers, academicians, researchers, and industry experts for informed and evidence-based discussions focused on strengthening farmer livelihoods while safeguarding the environment.

The State Support Mission, Swarna Jayanti Haryana Institute for Fiscal Management (SJHIFM) successfully conducted a Capacity Building Training Programme on Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Procurement today.

A total of 55 officers from various departments participated in the training. The participants actively engaged in discussions, reflecting their commitment towards strengthening procurement practices.

The key objective of the programme was to enhance institutional capacity in public procurement through GeM. Detailed deliberations were held on crucial aspects such as portal registration, vendor selection, bidding processes and compliance with prevailing government procurement rules and guidelines.

The session was conducted in an interactive manner, enabling participants to seek clarifications, share field-level issues and gain practical insights for effective implementation of GeM procurement. The programme concluded successfully, contributing towards improved efficiency, transparency, and compliance in government procurement processes.

An Industry Academia Meet on “Enabling Indigenous Technologies of Haryana” was successfully held at SGT University, Gurugram. The event was organized through Panjab University, Chandigarh the Lead Knowledge Institute under the State Support Mission, SJHIFM. The meet brought together policymakers, academia, industry leaders, startups and researchers. It aimed to promote indigenous technologies and strengthen collaboration in Haryana.

The programme featured academic and industry sessions.
Innovative research, startup solutions and sector-specific technologies were showcased. Focus areas included technology transfer, commercialization and sustainable partnerships.
