Eternal Gita message resonating across Japan.
In a special ceremony held today, Haryana Government presented 100 copies of the Shrimad Bhagwat Gita (Japanese edition) to Sh Chandru Appar, Consulate General of India, Osaka, Japan.
These copies were graciously presented by Mr. Vikas Pandey, Asst Prof in Osaka University alongwith Ms. Nikita a girl from Kurukshetra, now based at Tokyo. The event had participation of Sh Upender Singhal, KBD, Sh Pawan Choudhary, CM Office, Sh Sanjay Garg, HSIIDC and Ms Heena Bindlish from Foreign Cooperation Deptt, Govt of Haryana. The meeting witnessed an insightful exchange of ideas for spread of eternal message of Gita in Japan & other countries. CGI, Osaka expressed keenness on arranging online Gita learning courses for Japanese students.
International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra will be celebrated from Nov 15 – Dec 05, 2025, with similar events by mission of 51 Countries. Haryana team also requested CGI, Osaka to explore possibility of participation by Japanese troupes at International Gita Mahotsav and upcoming Surajkund fair as part of cultural exchange program between the two countries.
