Students of RVS Siddha Medical College & Hospital (II BSMS – Batch 2022–23) had an insightful field visit to SKM Siddha & Ayurveda Company, Erode on 11th Feb 2026. 🏭🌿

Guided by expert professionals, we explored raw drug storage, GMP-based manufacturing, modern pharmaceutical instruments, packaging, and drug testing laboratories. 💊🔬

Field Visit – SATV Department (12 & 13 Feb 2026)

The SATV Department conducted a two-day academic field visit with 5 faculty members and 27 students.
Day 1 -2.02.2026
The team visited Arulmigu Palani Temple, Palani Devasthanam Siddha Hospital, Bogar Samathi, and Pulippani Ashramam. At Palani Devasthanam Siddha Hospital, students attended a lecture and gained clinical insights into Siddha practices. At Pulippani Ashramam, students attended a lecture and observed the Navapasanam, its kattu (protective structure), and palm leaf manuscripts, enriching their understanding of Siddha heritage and traditional knowledge.
Day 2 – 13.02.2026
The team visited Aaliyar Arivu Thirukovil. The visit enriched students’ knowledge regarding spiritual wisdom, self-realization principles, and value-based living. The exposure strengthened their understanding of the moral and philosophical concepts emphasized in Siddha literature.

World Cancer Day 2026 was observed with a meaningful awareness programme at RVS Siddha Medical College & Hospital.

Theme 2026: "UNITED BY UNIQUE "
People-centred cancer care — focusing on compassion, equity, and patient empowerment.

The programme included an awareness speech, a cancer prevention presentation, and an impact skit.

These sessions highlighted early detection, lifestyle modification, and people-centred cancer care.
