NCC cadets of North Lakhimpur University celebrates National Youth Day with Run for Swadeshi, organised by MY Bharat in collaboration with Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari— inspiring the youth to embrace patriotism, self-reliance, and the ideals of Swami Vivekananda. The day concluded with an enlightening talk on his ideologies, lifestyle, and the greatness of his life and teachings.

North Lakhimpur University NCC Cadet Diksh*ta Chakraborty to Represent Assam at National Youth Festival 2026
North Lakhimpur University has brought pride to the state as their NCC cadet has been selected to represent Assam at the national level under the Design for Bharat programme of Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue (VBYLD) 2026. The cadet will participate in the National Youth Festival 2026, to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, in the presence of the Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
On 7th January, the cadet was felicitated by the Hon'ble Governor of Assam and the Hon'ble Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Assam, during a special send-off ceremony, where she was encouraged and extended best wishes for her national participation.
Representing Assam on a national platform, Diksh*ta Chakraborty's selection reflects her technical excellence, innovation, and leadership potential, and highlights the growing contribution of NCC cadets from North Lakhimpur University in nation-building initiatives.
