As per the directives of the Hon’ble Collector & District Magistrate, the District Medical & Health Officer, Dr. B. Rajasree, MBBS, DGO, participated in the Gram Sabha at GP Ghanpur of Dichpally Mandal as a Special Officer representing the district.
The community was encouraged to utilize essential health services provided by the government. Regular screening and free treatment for pregnant women, timely immunization for children, and health check-ups for individuals above 30 years were emphasized. Services such as palliative care for bedridden patients, malnutrition management through SAM/MAM programs, and specialist consultations at hospitals were highlighted.
Awareness was also created on preventing mosquito-borne diseases, maintaining sanitation, and taking precautions during summer to avoid heat stroke. Overall, people were advised to adopt healthy lifestyles, participate in health awareness programs, and make full use of the available healthcare services.
