NAPT
We are a vibrant team of like-minded young academicians and retired senior officers of defence, paramilitary and police forces. The NAPT academy was formed with the intent of imparting training to help candidates secure a job in the Army, Navy, Air Force, CRPF, BSF, CISF, State Police Force, ITBP and other Private Security Agencies.
Over the past years, the academy has imparted quality training to aspirants with emphasis on both academic syllabus and physical fitness, these being the two main qualifications recruiters in defence forces look for in candidates. Our awareness and selection camps are conducted at the municipality/panchayat level for the mobilisation of students. The academy offers a six month intense training programme to improve academic knowledge and physical fitness of the trainees. NAPT learning centres are equipped with classrooms, full-fledged labs, skilled physical trainers, proficient academic trainers, health and nutrition professionals, doctors, ex-servicemen and counsellors. Study materials and syllabus are prepared in collaboration with academicians and veterans from various armed forces. The multilevel education system of NAPT not only transforms a student into an ideal candidate for a job in the forces, but also a model citizen.
15,000 candidates were trained by NAPT in the last 6 years, of these 3,000 were recruited for the job they dreamt of in government and private sectors. An estimated 15 lakh aspirants apply for a career in armed forces (including state police forces) in India every year. We tap a minimum of 6% of this employable group in a year. NAPT has established study centres throughout Kerala and is in the process of establishing new centres in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
