🇵🇪✨ On July 28, the Embassy of Peru in India proudly organized the projection of the Peruvian flag onto the iconic Qutub Minar, one of India's most celebrated historical landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Built in the 13th century, Qutub Minar stands as a symbol of India's rich architectural and cultural heritage, welcoming millions of visitors each year. Illuminating this remarkable monument with the colors of Peru was a meaningful gesture celebrating the friendship and strong ties between Peru and India.
This marks the first time in the history of the Embassy of Peru in India that the Peruvian flag has been projected onto Qutub Minar in commemoration of Peru's Independence Day, making this a truly special milestone in promoting Peru's presence in India.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Aman Puri, Joint Secretary for the South America Division of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, as Guest of Honour, reflecting the excellent state of bilateral relations between our two countries. Members of the Embassy of Peru, the Defence Attaché's Office, and the Trade Office of Peru (OCEX) in New Delhi also joined the celebration.
🇵🇪🤝🇮🇳 Happy Independence Day, Peru!
