The ATC Guild (India) has formally approached the Member (HR), AAI, seeking urgent institutional intervention regarding the implementation of the landmark Punjab & Haryana High Court judgment (dated 27.05.2026) on EPS-95 pensions.
Key Takeaways:
The Judgment: The Hon'ble High Court has quashed the EPFO's restrictive pro-rata calculation circulars, ruling that pensions for higher wage options must be calculated on actual higher salary. EPFO has been directed to recalculate and release the correct benefits.
The Guild's Appeal: To prevent widespread, individual litigation, the Guild has requested AAI management to take up the matter directly with EPFO HQ, designate a nodal officer for retired employees, and ensure a coordinated, uniform rollout of revised pensions.
This proactive step by the Guild aims to safeguard the dignity and legitimate financial rights of our retired colleagues who served the organization for decades.
