Empowering EMRS Classrooms with AI-Driven Innovation

NESTS, under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has signed an MoU with CoGrad to strengthen AI-enabled academic support across 499 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) nationwide.

Through free access to the customised “Medha AI” platform for two years, over 9,000 teachers will be equipped with cutting-edge tools for lesson planning, assessment generation, 3D content creation, and innovative teaching-learning practices—ultimately benefiting more than 1.5 lakh tribal students.

Aligned with the vision of NEP 2020, this collaboration marks a significant step towards leveraging indigenous AI solutions to enhance educational outcomes, strengthen teacher effectiveness, and create future-ready learning environments for tribal students.

Strengthening Tribal Education in Bihar

NESTS, under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has signed an MoU with the Bihar Mahadalit Vikas Mission, SC & ST Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, to strengthen the implementation of Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) across the State.

The partnership will accelerate the operationalisation of EMRSs, strengthen academic and administrative systems, ensure quality infrastructure, and provide tribal students with access to world-class residential education aligned with NCERT and CBSE standards.

With financial support of ₹1.47 lakh per student and a shared commitment towards educational excellence, this collaboration marks another significant step towards empowering tribal youth and creating brighter futures through quality education.
