Celebrating Raksha Bandhan, A moment of Joy and Happiness: Nirbhoy Didi Sreerupa Mitra Chaudhury, eminent Gender and Civil Rights Activist, tied a Rakhi to Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Bhai Modi ji, this morning at Prime Minister's Residence, in New Delhi.
They exchanged warm greetings of Raksha Bandhan.Nirbhoy Didi briefly updated Prime Minister about the plight of women and young girls of impoverished border villages of West Bengal, especially of Malda and Murshidabad, two "aspirational" districts, identified by Niti Aayog, Government of India.
Nirbhoy Didi represented aspirations of 3000 villages and 5 million people of Bengal, especially of those who are voiceless and helpless; Prime Minister showered unprecedented blessings and affection, a befitting day for sisters of Bengal and of India.
