A legacy that never fades, a spirit that never stops growing.
From a national Youth UN Volunteer to a gender advocate supporting inclusive development, Sneha Pathakโs story reflects the lasting power of volunteerism.
Beginning as a Research Assistant with UNDPโs Disha project in Delhi (2017), she worked on supporting young women in their transition from education to employment. Through an initiative that reached more than 1,000 schools, she collaborated with government, private sector, educators, and communities to help expand opportunities for young womenโs skills, confidence, and livelihoods.
Today, Sneha provides gender advisory support across UNDP Indiaโs portfolios spanning climate action, health, governance, livelihoods, and inclusive workplaces. Her Youth UNV experience remains a strong foundation in her journey, reminding her that meaningful change is built through trust, persistence, and purposeful engagement.
โVolunteerism gave me some of my earliest lessons in courage, community, and the quiet power of showing up.โ
