Kathak Kendra, a constituent unit of the Sangeet Natak Akademi, an autonomous body of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, organized a workshop at the Vivekananda Auditorium for its technical team on 6 August 2026.

Dr Y. Theba Devi, Director, Kathak Kendra, interacted with the participants and emphasized the importance of systematic preservation and documentation of archival materials. The session focused on the selection and curation of archival content, photography and videography standards, and the effective use of lighting for both archival documentation and stage presentations.
