*Summer Camp in Full Swing*

Shanti Gyan Niketan Junior School’s Summer Camp Activities are going on in full swing. Students of Classes II to V are utilising their summer holidays in a productive and enjoyable way under the guidance of our experienced coaches and mentors.
A variety of exciting and creative indoor as well as outdoor activities have been designed to help children learn, explore and develop new skills with fun and enthusiasm.

Activities include Basketball, Lawn Tennis, Cricket, Skating, Badminton, Football, Handball, Horse Riding, Swimming, Dance, Music, Art & Craft, Instrumental Music, Yoga, Coding, Personality Development and Taekwondo.

🌿 *“Good health is the true wealth that fills life with hope, happiness, and positivity.”* 🌿

A Free Mega *Health Check-up Camp* 🩺 was successfully organized on *16 May 2026* from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Vivekananda Hall with the objective of promoting preventive healthcare and holistic wellness among parents and staff members. ✨

The camp was organized by Mr. Somnath Asta, President of *Antarrashtriya Swarnkar Sangh Trust* , in collaboration with *Shri Balaji Action Medical Institute and *Max Hospital* , with special support from *Anju Raj Kumar Khurana Trust.* 🤝

The event was honoured by the gracious presence of Mr. Somnath Asta, School Chairman; Sir Surender Kumar Khurana, School Secretary; Sir Ashwani Kumar Khurana, School Managing Director; Sir Raj Kumar Khurana; Middle Wing Incharge Ms. Anubha Trivedi; Junior Wing Incharge Ms. Bhakti Sharma; and Senior Wing Incharge Ms. Archana Chowdhary. 🌸

The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the *lamp* 🪔 and chanting of mantras 🎶, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. A heartfelt floral tribute 💐 was also paid to the late founder Chairman of the school, Shri Gyan Chand Khurana ji.

The dignitaries emphasized the importance of early disease detection, healthy living, and regular health check-ups. 👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ A dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals conducted various screenings including BP, sugar, ECG, dental, bone density, cholesterol, thyroid, vitamin, pulmonary, and cancer screening tests. 🩻

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from parents as well as teaching and non-teaching staff members, making the event a grand success. 🌟 The school management expressed sincere gratitude 🙏 to the organizers, medical team, and volunteers for their selfless service towards this noble cause. It was truly a thoughtful and heartwarming initiative by Raj Kumar Khurana Sir. 💖

विशेष प्रार्थना सभा
नमो नमः
आज दिनांक(15/5/2026) को शांति ज्ञान निकेतन विद्यालय के पूजनीय संस्थापक श्री ज्ञानचंद खुराना जी के जन्मदिन के अवसर पर विशेष प्रार्थना सभा का आयोजन किया गया। यद्यपि वे आज हमारे बीच उपस्थित नहीं है किंतु उनके आदर्श ,विचार एवं शिक्षा के प्रति समर्पण सदैव हमे प्रेरित करते रहेंगे। सभा का प्रारंभ श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर एवं 2 मिनट का मौन रखकर किया गया ।इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों एवं शिक्षकों ने उनके जीवन संघर्ष एवं समाज तथा शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में दिए गए अमूल्य योगदान को स्मरण किया।
अंत में सभी लोगों ने उनके बताए हुए मार्ग पर चलने का संकल्प लिया।

Shanti Gyan Niketan Junior Public School proudly organized the “Express the Character (Mask)” Competition, where students of class II enthusiastically participated by presenting themselves as different superheroes, cartoons, animals, birds, and many other creative characters. After an exciting selection round, the shortlisted participants confidently performed in the final competition with great energy and expression. Esteemed judges carefully observed the creativity, confidence, presentation skills, and overall performance of each participant before announcing the winners. The competition concluded with the distribution of awards and certificates to appreciate the outstanding efforts and performances of the students. The event was truly filled with excitement, creativity, and joyful learning.
