🌿 Salient Features
✅ Manufactured using agricultural residues and industrial by-products
✅ Provides thermal comfort and energy efficiency
✅ Suitable for internal and external wall applications, subject to design requirements
✅ Available in solid brick and hollow block formats for building applications

🏆 Recognition & Field Applications

The agency participated in the Indian Housing Technology Mela (IHTM), organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), Government of India, from 5–7 October 2021 at Lucknow. The Hon’ble Prime Minister also visited the agency’s stall. The agency’s system/product was recommended among the top three technologies by the Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) at the IHTM.

🌳 Dhun Project:
At Dhun, a 500-acre development where a desert has been transformed into a forest over the past decade, Agrocrete blocks are being produced on-site using reclaimed excavation soil from the project campus itself, demonstrating a circular approach to sustainable construction.

🏡 Bengaluru Project:
In another project with Ruchira Developers, comprising 113 villas, all triplex villas are constructed using Agrocrete blocks. The total built-up area covered using Agrocrete products is approximately 5.2 lakh sq. ft.

This recognition by BMTPC highlights the potential of innovative, resource-efficient and sustainable building materials in advancing environmentally responsible construction practices. 🌱🏗️

🏆 BMTPC awards PAC to Edilteco Building Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for an innovative thermal insulation product!

The Building Materials & Technology Promotion Council (BMTPC) awarded the Performance Appraisal Certificate (PAC) to M/s Edilteco Building Solutions Pvt. Ltd. on 1 September 2026 for its innovative product:

🔹 Politerm Blu – Thermal Insulated EPS Beads Aggregates

Politerm Blu is a pre-additivated, lightweight thermal-insulated aggregate made from virgin closed-cell Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) beads of 2–5 mm diameter. The beads are treated with Edilteco’s proprietary E.I.A. (Edilteco Insulating Additive), enabling their effective bonding with cement and water.

The special additive prevents bead flotation and ensures uniform distribution of EPS beads throughout the mix, making the product suitable for lightweight cement mortars and concrete mixes of different densities.

✨ Key features & applications:

• Ultra-lightweight EPS aggregate with density of 10–12 kg/m³
• Thermal insulation for buildings
• Roof insulation and floor screeds
• Filling layers and underfloor heating systems
• Reduction of structural dead load due to its very low density
• Potential alternative to conventional lightweight insulating aggregates such as expanded perlite and vermiculite

The technology represents an innovative approach towards lightweight, thermally efficient and resource-conscious building solutions, supporting the adoption of advanced construction materials in India.

🌱 BMTPC continues to promote innovative building materials and technologies for a more sustainable, resilient and efficient built environment.
