We discussed a wide range of regional and global issues, including the current situation in the Middle East.
We also explored opportunities to further develop industrial cooperation for defence based on shared interests and mutual benefit.
Finally, we exchanged the 2026-2027 Bilateral Military Cooperation Plan, for the commitments and collaboration between our Armed Forces.”

During his official visit to , Minister of Defence 🇮🇹 Guido Crosetto met with NSA Ajit Doval.

🗣️ “A cordial meeting with India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval. The focus was on strengthening the strategic dialogue between Italy and India on key international security issues, with particular attention to Indo-Pacific stability, maritime security, freedom of navigation, as well as the protection of energy and commercial routes. A shared commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation in the defence industry sector, and readiness to broaden collaboration in defence and security across all operational, training and exercise domains”.
