The India–UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is creating new pathways for Indian talent to thrive globally. From enhanced mobility commitments to social security benefits, the agreement strengthens opportunities across India's dynamic services sector.

Key highlights:
Dedicated annual quota for 1,800 Indian Chefs, Yoga Instructors, and Classical Musicians.

Around 75,000 Indian professionals are expected to benefit from the Social Security Agreement, with exemption from UK National Insurance Contributions for up to five years.

Enhanced market access for architects, engineers, and other skilled professionals in the UK.

As the comes into force today, I pen down how this landmark agreement will benefit India.

The agreement, which opens new avenues for trade, investment and innovation, will create unique opportunities for our businesses while further accelerating PM Narendra Modi ji's vision of Viksit Bharat 2047.
