कर्तव्य पथ पर बलिदान, राष्ट्र के नाम अमर सम्मान

CISF pays tribute to our bravehearts , HC/Fire E Nayaka, CT/DCPO M K Paswan and CT/Fire S P Kushwaha, who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty while bravely battling a major fire at ONGC Mumbai and saving precious human lives.

Their courage, valour and unwavering commitment to duty will remain an enduring source of inspiration for the entire Force. CISF remains eternally indebted to these bravehearts for their supreme sacrifice in the service of the nation.

Let us honour their sacrifice by supporting the families of our bravehearts. Contributions towards the welfare of bereaved families of CAPF personnel can be made through Bharat Ke Veer. Contributions are eligible for exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, as applicable.

Anti-Hijacking Mock Exercise Conducted at CISF Unit ASG Tirupati

The Annual Anti-Hijacking Mock Exercise (AHME) 2026 simulating the landing of a hijacked aircraft was conducted at Tirupati Airport in accordance with the established contingency and Anti-Hijacking Exercise plan.

, State Police, AAI, BCAS, IB, Airlines, Fire Services, BDDS, Medical and other stakeholder agencies actively participated in the excercise to assess the operational preparedness.

The exercise reinforced inter-agency coordination, timely mobilisation and effective crisis response, with the Aerodrome Committee concluding that the objectives of the exercise had been successfully achieved.

'Hub & Spoke' Flight Operations Inaugurated at Ahmedabad Airport

A grand opening function of the 'Hub & Spoke' International Flight Operations was organised at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, on 01.09.2026 at Bastian Maison Hotel, City Side Area, Terminal-2. The programme was inaugurated by Hon’ble Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Shri Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, as Chief Guest, in the presence of Hon’ble MoS for Civil Aviation, Shri Murlidhar Mohol, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Bhupendra Patel and Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Harsh Sanghavi.

The programme was attended by the Chief Secretary, Government of Gujarat, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation, senior CISF officials, including Shri S. R. Saravanan, IG/APS-II and DIG/CASO, ASG Ahmedabad, senior Ahmedabad Police officials, BCAS and AIAL officials, local administration officials, representatives of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and industry bodies and media representatives.

The programme commenced with Vande Mataram, ceremonial lighting of the lamp and felicitation of dignitaries, followed by the Welcome Address, screening of an Audio-Visual Film and addresses by the dignitaries. Commemorative boarding passes were also presented to passengers of the inaugural Air India Hub & Spoke flight.

The event concluded with a media briefing by the Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation. CISF remains committed to ensuring safe, secure and seamless air travel through robust aviation security, operational preparedness and close coordination with all stakeholders.

Formal Induction of CISF at Propellant Complex, Rasayani, Raigad, Maharashtra

CISF has been formally inducted at Propellant Complex, Rasayani, a unit of SDSC SHAR, Raigad, Maharashtra, on 01.09.2026, marking an important step towards strengthening security at this vital installation supporting India’s space programme.

The induction ceremony was graced by Shri Ajay Kumar Khandelwal, DIG, DOS-II, as Chief Guest. The programme commenced with a Ceremonial Guard of Honour, followed by the lighting of the lamp and unfurling of the CISF Flag. Shri Sanjay Jain, General Head, PCR, formally inducted the CISF Unit by handing over the security key to Asstt. Comdt. Ravi Teja R, signifying the commencement of CISF’s security responsibilities.

The ceremony was attended by Shri Karthikeyan K, Sr. Comdt., BARC Mumbai, Shri Sharique Alam, Head, P&GA; Shri R. Gopal, Sr. P&SO, along with senior officials, Fire Services personnel, DGR Security and CISF personnel.

The induction further strengthens the ISRO–CISF association and the security framework of this vital installation contributing to the nation’s space programme.

🚒 When Every Second Counts, CISF Fire Wing Responds

A fire broke out onboard fishing vessel Devi Laxmi-2 at Paradip Fishing Harbour, outside the Port area. On receiving the information, the CISF Fire Wing of PPA Paradip responded swiftly and rushed to the spot to undertake firefighting operations.

With timely and determined action, the CISF Fire Crew brought the fire under control and successfully extinguished it. State Fire Services and IFFCO Fire Services subsequently joined the operation, supporting the coordinated firefighting efforts.There were no casualties and the situation was brought under control safely.

The incident highlights the crucial role of the Fire Wing in responding to fire emergencies with speed, skill and readiness to save precious lives and assets when every second matters.

Foreign Currency Concealed Around Knees Detected by CISF at Mumbai Airport

CISF personnel deployed at ASG Mumbai detected foreign currency during Pre-Embarkation Security Check, worth approximately ₹72.22 lakh, in two separate cases involving international departure passengers on a single day.

In the first case, a passenger travelling to Dubai was found carrying USD 45,000 (approx. ₹42.82 lakh). Of this, USD 30,000 was found concealed around her knee level using adhesive tape, while USD 15,000 was found in her hand baggage.

In the second case, a passenger travelling to Ras Al-Khaimah, UAE, was found carrying USD 30,000 and 3,800 UAE Dirham, valued at approximately ₹29.40 lakh, in her hand baggage.

In both cases, the passengers, along with the detected foreign currency, were handed over to AIU/Customs for further necessary action.

The detections highlight the vigilance, alertness and professionalism of CISF personnel in strengthening aviation security.
