PFRDA organised NPS Awareness Workshops across Rajahmundry, Kakinada and Thiruvananthapuram to promote pension awareness and encourage retirement planning among the MSME community.

Bringing together MSME representatives, the workshops highlighted the importance of the National Pension System (NPS), structured retirement planning and long-term financial security for both employers and employees.

The workshops were organised in association with Rekonnect Skills in Rajahmundry and the AP Chamber of Commerce in Kakinada. The session in Thiruvananthapuram was conducted in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Thiruvananthapuram Zone.

The programmes featured keynote addresses by Shri Ismail Salam, DGM, PFRDA, and Shri Shailendra Babu Balasubramanian, AM, PFRDA.

The sessions covered the key benefits and features of NPS, along with the enrolment process. Participants also had the opportunity to interact with representatives of Points of Presence (PoPs), seek guidance and understand the process of onboarding to NPS.
