Finland and India strengthened their cooperation on circular economy and climate action at , an official accelerator session of the World Circular Economy Forum ( ), held in Gandhinagar on September 17.

Finland Day was organised by the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. It brought together Finnish and Indian companies, investors, policymakers, research and innovation organisations and international institutions to explore opportunities for collaboration across maritime systems, energy and the built environment, sports infrastructure and emerging technologies.

✨Celebrating Finland-India Tourism✨

Last month, the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi and Consulate General of Finland in Mumbai participated in the *Three-City Finland - India Tourism Workshop* organized by Sara Consulting Services / Sara Sodhi Juneja in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and New Delhi.

Former Consul-General of Finland Erik af Hällström addressed the audience in Mumbai and Mr. Christian Heikkinen, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Finland in New Delhi hosted a reception for the participating delegation from Finland at Ambassador's Residence. Johanna Manni, Consul, First Secretary - Head of Consular & Immigration Section participated in the Workshop in all the 3 cities.

The tour brought together 22 tourism partners from and and strengthened the connections with India’s growing outbound travel industry. This was the largest-ever Finnish delegation for a tourism workshop in India, representing destination marketing, luxury hotels and resorts, DMCs, experience providers and tourism businesses.

Over three days, Finnish partners engaged with leading Indian luxury travel advisors, tour operators, MICE specialists and media, creating new opportunities for business and collaboration. The workshop was also attended by travel agents from key Tier II and Tier III markets, including Pune, Kolkata, Indore, Raipur, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Agra further strengthening Finland’s outreach beyond the major metropolitan cities.
